Ingredients for this Keto Bread Extravaganza:

Almond Flour (3 tablespoons): The cornerstone of this keto wonder, almond flour, is our knight in shining armor.

Rich in healthy fats and low in carbs, it’s the perfect foundation for our bread.

Egg (1 large): The binding agent, the glue that holds our keto dreams together.

Baking Powder (1/2 teaspoon): The levity in our bread, giving it that spongy texture we all adore.

Salt (a pinch): A dash of salt, for balance and flavor.

Butter or Coconut Oil (1 tablespoon, melted): This is the buttery elixir that will make our bread moist and rich.

Procedure:

Gather Your Ingredients and Tools:

Begin by ensuring you have all the ingredients at your disposal, neatly arranged like a mise en place magician.

You’ll also need a microwave-safe mug or small bowl, a fork for whisking, and a microwave, of course!

Mixing Magic:

In your mug or bowl, blend the almond flour, egg, baking powder, and a pinch of salt together. It should resemble a thick, gooey paste.

Add the Buttery Bliss:

Now, pour in the melted butter or coconut oil, mixing it into the paste until it’s smooth and delightful.

Microwave Magic:

Pop your mug or bowl into the microwave, set the timer for 90 seconds, and watch the bread magic happen before your very eyes.

Revel in the Aroma:

As the microwave hums its 90-second symphony, a mouthwatering aroma will fill the air, hinting at the delectable treat that’s about to grace your taste buds.

Slice and Savor:

Once the timer dings, carefully take out your mug, let it cool for a moment, and then slice this golden-brown marvel.

Spread on some keto-friendly toppings or enjoy it as is—a testament to your keto journey!

There you have it, a 90-second microwavable zero-carb keto bread, a delightful creation that fits seamlessly into your keto lifestyle.

It’s the epitome of swift, savory satisfaction, a bread born from innovation and nurtured by keto love. May your keto journey be bountiful and your taste buds forever thrilled!

  2. That looks like a strudel. And there are no seeds in the ingredients. And people are supposed to believe that the pictured bread is what the recipe will make.

  3. Yes! Nutritional values PLEASE!! I guess it does say 0carbs, but I’d like to know the rest. It’s pretty much a chaffle in a mug without the cheese? Funny enough, I do have a Paula Dean square butter mug!

  5. Yawn… great recipe…I am very glad I clicked. It was easy to prepare and tasted great. It was like eating two cornbread muffins, about the same consistency. Tasted good by itself but even better slathered with butter ( of course). By my calculations, the only carbs are 1.5 net from the almond flour. Thanks for the recipe!

  6. This recipe is not new. It’s been out on YouTube for years. You can use other keto-friendly flours, such as coconut(though it only requires one tablespoon)or flaxseed flour or pecan flour, which you can substitute for the almond flour in the same amount.
It really is annoying that loaves, and a sliced loaf are pictured because you are going to get one serving-and a small one, at that-out of this recipe
However, if you know the limited amount, it can be worth the time if you just want a quick, small, keto meal-especially since a loaf of keto bread runs about six or seven dollars a loaf-and it also is a small loaf.

  7. I would love to try this but do not have almond flour.. only rice and king Arthur 1:1 gluten free flour. I live in a really small town and would have to order almond flour.. will the four I have work?

  8. It’s definitely not the bread that is pictured. I tried the recipe, maybe if you were to add some Munk sugar and cinnamon it would be edible. But with a bit of Ghee butter, ugh no!

  9. This recipe is nonsense. I won’t waste the egg or the almond flour on proving it because these ingredients are expensive…but I have been doing low carb and keto long enough to say this will not magically turn into bread like the loaf that is shown. Not even close. Shame on whoever wrote it and published it here to trick people into clicking on it.
